This position provides evidenced based
outpatient behavioral health therapy and the oversight of clinical
services. Individual, family, and group
therapy are provided to treat a broad array of behavioral health disorders,
including facilitation to a Medical Home. Clinical services are provided with a
context of multi-agency collaboration with an emphasis on effective,
outcome-oriented treatment. Natural and
formal supports are actively involved in treatment.

Summary of the Essential Duties and
Direct Services to, or on behalf of,
behavioral health clients:
- Access individuals of
all ages to determine diagnoses, needs, goals, strengths, supports, &
culturally relevant issues impacting treatment needs
- Develop a
comprehensive initial treatment plan
- Interact with all
agency departments in order to ensure appropriate assessment and treatment of
the individual, including the medical department, Crisis Response Services,
WISe, adult treatment programs, and child/family treatment programs
- Reassess existing
clients, including adapting treatment plans in order to help individuals obtain
maximum treatment benefit
case-management services as necessary
- Consult with relevant
community agencies, the coordination of multi-agency services, and
participation in multi-agency support teams on behalf of consumers
- Consult, educate, and
train to other individuals or agencies as deemed necessary
- Develop &
implement behavior plans for clients with behavior problems due to personality
disorders or cognitive deficits with clients or caregivers
- Oversee therapeutic
and case-management services, which may be provided by counselors,
counselor-techs, and counselor assistants for those clients assigned to the
- Participate in
regular individual supervision from clinical manager.
- Display a
professional image to the community.
- Ability to be flexible
and manage urgent and crisis situations effectively.
- Ability to motivate
staff and develop a working team around individual cases.
- Effective time
management including but not limited to: planning ahead where possible and be
punctual in person and work performed.
- Build strong working
relationships and a positive work environment.
- Be receptive to
feedback, willing to learn, and embrace continuous improvement.
- Complete all
documentation, reporting, and other paperwork per agency standards.
- Attend all appropriate
staff, organizational, and external meetings (as assigned).
- Work efficiently both
independently and as part of a team.
- Other duties as
- Master's or Nursing
degree in counseling and/or social services related field from an accredited
college or university required.
- Two years'
experience* in providing direct treatment to individuals with behavioral health
- *Recent graduates are not subject to the required two years'
experience. Recent graduates shall
receive a higher level of supervision until they 1) meet the WAC Mental Health
- definition, or 2) receive a MHP
- Agency Affiliated
Registration in Washington State is required, licensure preferred.
- State of Washington
mental health specialty in child, disability (developmental disability/serious
physical handicap or sensory impairment), and/or older adult populations
- Clinical competence
in providing assessment, supportive services, education, and therapy to
consumers and their natural supports.
- Clinical competence
in the provision of individual, family and group treatment.
Remote Option Available
- This can be a remote position after training if billable service hours are 80 or above per month.
- Must be licensed in Washington State
Sign on bonus: $7,500.00
Relocation assistance: Up to $1,500 in relocation reimbursement.
*If offered a position you will also receive a $7,500 signing bonus. Bonus is payable at $3,750 in your first paycheck and $3,750 after 6 months of employment.
