Some of What You'll Do:

Develops a strategy and programs designed to represent the organization favorably and make positive contributions to the community. Creates and plans programs that engage and support the community and employees. Arranges proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports. Develops and expands relationships with community leaders and media representatives. Supports marketing initiatives and represents the organization at events. Participates in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media. Manages all social media and marketing functions of the agency.

What We Require:

  • College degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in marketing, event management, and print material design required
  • Experience in fundraising and resource development preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able and willing to interact with the public in a positive manner
  • Ability to create and implement systems
  • Ability to work independently, take direction and show initiative
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Canva
  • Experience with Filmora preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to seasonal or event related fluctuations in workload
  • Ability to lift boxes, table and chairs that can weigh up to 25-30 lbs.

Salary: $21.40 per hour

This position is a part of a union (OPEIU Local 11)
