Some of What You'll Do:

This is an exempt, management position, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer.  Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of professional and courteous customer service.  Establish and implement a functioning business, administrative and a talent strategy that aligns with the agency's plan. Work with the business department manager, financial department manager, and human resources director, department administrators and clinical managers to create a strategy that that works within the flow of clinical and medical operations.  Other duties as assigned by the COO.

Summary of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Responsible for career development/planning and performance of team members.
  • Provides support for team members by training and mentoring.
  • Communicates and translates Columbia Wellness vision to staff.  
  • Addresses problems across functional areas of the business.
  • Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives. Prepares and presents reports to all levels of leadership and staff.
  • Assist with the development of procedures.
  • Employees of Columbia Wellness are expected to be timely, be reliable, have the capacity and desire to increase job skills and knowledge, be able to work independently, as well as accept direction, and be respectful to clients, staff and community members. 

What We Require:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a business-related discipline and five years' experience in a medical setting. Will consider a candidate with a willingness to attain a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree and over five years' experience.
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Family Medical Leave Act.
  • Computer experience is required, skills with Microsoft Office products. 
  • Must work well independently, as well as within a team, and be able to organize, and prioritize, multiple tasks.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

Salary: Depends on qualifications and relevant experience.
